The Science Shop image was created in the early 1990s. The then editor-in-chief of the well-known popular science magazine "bild der wissenschaft" had the idea of ​​bringing the Anglo-American model of the science shop to Germany. The aim was to offer the magazine's community an additional benefit, i.e. further information and products. All products should make you want to know more about being amazed: physics toys from flying tops to optical illusions, non-fiction books from the new science book of the year to illustrated books, DVDs and audio books. In recent years, a classic science shop has increasingly turned into a gift shop. That's why we also offer gift ideas for children and young people. Children are still enthusiastic about gifts and their brain learns much easier than ours. Our products are of high quality and, if possible, made in Germany or in small manufactories: whether precision weather measuring devices, wooden games, a self-erecting spinning top or a real dandelion in synthetic resin. Under the motto "brilliant ideas" we always try to find the best product for you.
